Combined Welding- and Cutting Torches with 17mm shank (normal torches)
The most common size for welding, soldering, heating and cutting, for all industrial and handcraft applications, with the acetylene-oxygen-flame for temperatures up to 3100°C.
The programme consists of
- a hand grip for normal hoses
- welding attachment in 9 sizes from 0,2 to 25mm welding range
- tubular welding attachment in 4 sizes from 1 to 9mm welding range
- more-flame-attachment in 4 sizes from 4,0 to 19mm heating range
- cutting attachment with concentric nozzles and wing or lever operation for cutting oxygen valve and cutting ranges from 3 to 300mm
- a hole cutting torch from 3 to 50mm cutting range
- and sets (assortments) of different compositions in a steel storage case.
Hand grips serve to admit welding-and cutting attachment. They possess a shutoff valve and a regulating valve for oxygen and acetylene and detachable hose tails for those gases.
Welding heads work after the suction- or injector principle and are generally operated with an oxygen pressure of 2,5 bar and an acetylene pressure of 0,5 to 1 bar. They are because of their construction largely immune from sustained backfire and marked with according to BGV D1 (VBG 15).
Pipe welding heads work like welding attachments and are operated with the same pressures. The thin copper mixing pipe (Ø 6mm) can however be bent easily, in order to reach places difficult of access.
Multi-flame torches or sprinkler head attachments serve to heat, to braze, to anneal etc., thus not for welding. Suction principle, operating pressures and consumptions equal to those of normal welding heads.
Cutting heads with concentric nozzles are suitable for all cutting applications up to a maximum of 300mm. They work after the suction- or injectorprinciple
i.e. largely immune from sustained backfire. Cutting oxygen valve by operation with wing or lever. Included in delivery are nozzles for a cutting range of 3-100mm and as accessory guide roller and special circular cutting attachment. The acetylene pressure is about 0,5 bar. Oxygen pressure and consumptions see cutting nozzles or instruction manual.
Combined Welding- and Cutting Torches with 17mm shank
Cutting heads with bloc nozzles are suitable for all cutting applications up to a maximum of 200mm. Advantage of bloc nozzles: flame cone is longer, bigger distance of nozzle mouth to workpiece is reducing the risk fo jam, higher cutting speed, gas saving. Largely immune from sustained backfire by working with suctioninjection principle. Pressure and consumptions see cutting nozzles or instruction manual.
Combined Welding- and Cutting Torches with 20mm shank (big torches)
These devices basically correspond to the versions with 17mm shank. However, the sizes 7 and 8 have a higher heat capacity (welding range up to 30mm) and the torches are all in all more robust and mechanically more claimable. With the acetylene-oxygen-flame temperatures of up to 3100°C are achievable.
Single Cutting Torches
Single cutting torches are provided for all cutting applications up to a maximum cutting range of 300mm. Due to th gas merging nozzles it is assured that during
sustained backfire no oxygen-burn gas alloy can be backdarted in the cutting torch through the gas bore. Lever operated cutting oxygen valve. Included in delivery as accessory is the guide roller and the circular cutting attachment
Cleaning prickers serve for the sparing cleaning of welding or cutting nozzles which were polluted by spots of slag or the like. Set contains prickers of different Ø.
Distributors with two single lockable dispatches serve to connect two points of consumption (torches) per bottle or point of consumption. In this case every torch must be equipped with safety installations according to DIN EN 730.
Hoses for oxygen and burnable gas according to DIN EN 559 (DIN 8541) for connection of torches and bottle (meter ware). Temperature - 30 °C till + 70 °C.
Threaded hose couplings, detachable, to connect to torch or to bottle, consisting of union nut and hose plug.
Gas igniter, hoop-type with big flint.
Wrenches to change nozzles, for threaded hose couplings etc.
